DeGranville Trilogy

June 22nd, 2007 by smash girl

The DeGranville Trilogy is the best trilogy I have ever read in my entire life. Here is just a little information on each of the three books:

Blood Read Horse:

You need three things to become a brave and noble knight:

A warhorse.
A fair maiden.
A just cause.

Will has a horse—a small chestnut stallion with a white blaze in his brow. Ellie is a fair maiden, but she’s supposed to marry Will’s older brother, Gavin. And as for the cause, King Richard is calling for a Crusade. The Knights of England must go to the Holy Land to fight. Will and Gavin will go. Blood will be shed. Lives will be taken. But through it all, two things will be constant—Ellie, and a blood-red horse called Hosanna. . . .

Green Jasper:

Will and Gavin de Granville have come back from the crusade older, braver, and definitely wiser. Ellie has been longing for their return. But they’ve changed. And home is almost as dangerous as the war they’ve just left.

The king is missing. The country is in turmoil. And some men would do anything for power. What will two brothers be willing to risk for the woman they both love and the king they have both sworn to protect and serve?

In the second book in the de Granville trilogy, the future of the entire de Granville family is endangered.

Blaze of Silver:

Kamil has overcome his old hatred, and is ready to join ranks with the de Granvilles to save King Richard the Lionheart. But the Old Man of the Mountain has a long arm and an unforgiving memory; Kamil’s long ago betrayal of the assassin will not go unpunished.

The fate of a king, the bonds of a friendship, and the depth of an enduring love will all be in jeopardy as the de Granvilles are called upon to deliver the king’s ransom that can free their ruler and bring peace to their troubled country.

Witness Will de Granville’s final steps along the journey he began eight years ago when he met Hosanna as a boy, and later followed King Richard on a doomed Crusade. In the stunning conclusion to the de Granville trilogy, friendships will be broken and forged, hearts will break, and loyalty will be pushed to the limit.

If you read these books, you seriously will not regret it. They are the best books in the entire world or in the history of history! I really encourage you all to read these books. If you don’t, you are really missing a piece of cake. People who love to read, not reading these books, is like not accepting 1 trillion dollars for free. READ THESE BOOKS!!!!!!

Wal Mart

March 8th, 2007 by smash girl

Wal Mart is such a crappy place to shop. I know they have low prices, but two cities next to each other are competing and can have $100 price differences!! It’s so crazy! My sister and I went to a Wal Mart in Orem to look for a display tower and they didn’t have it, so we went to one that was closer to where we live and they had it for $100 more! The one that they didn’t have it at was $86 and the one where they had it was $211!!(+ tax) It was outragous!!! We asked why the price was different and they said, ” Yah, some Wal Marts compete with each other.” I mean, why would the same company be competing? It’s like trying to make yourself lose money!!

My sister asked for a price check because it was lower at the other one and they went for a price check and while we were waiting, we asked if we could move aside and let the other people check their things out, the guy who was helping us said in a strict tone, “No. We have to wait for the price.” So not only were we waiting, the other people behind us were just standing there when they could be checking out and be on their way, no! They just had to wait for the price check. Ten minutes later, they come back and say, “Yah the price is correct. Do you still want it?” I thought in my mind, for that kind of price, no way!! We were so annoyed because it was so hard to get on the cart because it was so, freaken heavy!! When we started to leave, they said, ”Do you want us to put it away?” We’re like, “Yes!” Then we walked away just livid.

Here’s an even more stupid thing. My sister goes back to the other Wal Mart that had the lower price and bought the tower there. The next night we wanted to watch a movie and eat tons of candy, so we decided to go to yet another WalMart to get candy, and just to see if the tower’s price went up even more, we go and see where the tower was and the price was $65!!!!!!!!!! AnotherWal Mart that had the price for over $200!!!!!!! It’s so ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!! Just for my advice NEVER go to Wal Mart, EVER. It’s a horrid place to waste your money.

49ers

February 22nd, 2007 by smash girl

49ers is probably the best football team that has ever lived. They had the best two players in the football history, too. ( My opinion) They had Joe Montana and Steve Young. :) I also just love the colors of their uniforms! Red and Gold. The coolest colors. :) I think they were a really cool team and how they won that one Super Bowl. That was awsome!! All 49er fans, write a reply!!

ITheater

ITheater is basically a portable movie theater. They look just like sunglasses! If My parents would get me one, I would be so happy. They are so cool!! You could watch any movie that you want, by just looking into glasses and have the same experience as if you were in a movie theater! Sigh…. I really wish I had one.

Dr. Pepper

February 19th, 2007 by smash girl

My favorite soda is totally Dr. Pepper. I always ask my parents to buy it, but they always say no. So I come to my sister’s place and she has a whole case waiting for me! I love her so much. Sigh….  I know lots of people are just as crazy for it as me. I love the 23 flavors and how it tastes and how I can have it for a whole week! I love my sister so much. She always buys my favorite stuff whenever I’m at her house. I like how it makes me hyper, too. Then I can annoy everybody. :)

Racing Collision

February 16th, 2007 by smash girl

I know this one girl, who was driving home late at night, and was driving in a well known area, where stupid kids race in there cars really fast and got in a head on car crash with a kid who was racing at 50mph. They both weren’t seriously injured, but she was sore and had bruises all over her. The air bag saved her life. I’m really glad she’s still alive.

Viva Pinata!

February 13th, 2007 by smash girl

Viv Pinata is an Xbox 360 game that is really fun. I have it and I play it a lot. You get to make a garden and attract different types of animals and have them mate and have eggs and try to make all the sour pinatas turn good and if you do that, you can get points or up-grades to get better things or people to help build your garden. I love the game a lot. My favorite pinata is the Bunnycomb. It’s basically a bunny, but in pinata form. Buy the game today in your local electronic store!

Yosemite

February 13th, 2007 by smash girl

I just got back from Yosemite and I had lots of fun! I went on really long hikes and I saw lots of animals including deer, racoons, and lots of different birds! I didn’t like all the hippy-naturalists, but they shared a lot of good information all about Yosemite. I got to see the wonderful sight of Half Dome, North Dome and Glacier Point. They were all fascinating! I learned some names of trees and different types of rocks and minerals. My favorite mineral was Quartz. It’s such a pretty shade of pink, and I love pink! I think people should go there some time and see the beauty of the National Park!! :)
